Colourful bohemian pitcher vase made by Amphora Works Riessner, formerly Riessner Stellmacher and Kessel, Turn, Teplitz, Bohemia, Austria. It is decorated in the Secessionist style (Art Nouveau) with stylized floral designs and patterns in strong bright colours with a pink textured background.
Three lovely English bone china serving / display plates, 10 1/2″ diameter, made by John Aynsley & Sons, Ltd (1775-present). Each plate has a hand decorated design finished over transfer print by Joe (J. A.) Bailey who worked for Aynsley from 1937-1974.

An humorous golfing beer mug, 4 ½” x 5 ½”, made for Crown Ducal in the mid-1930s, stamped underglaze. A frustrated golfer and his amused caddy search for a missing golf ball on the front and on the reverse two characterized golf balls are found, one with arms outstretched and the other kneeling in prayer.
