An English Bell shaped inkwell with a recessed retracting lid, opening to reveal a hard rubber well, c. early 20th Century.
A carved wood inkwell resembling a walnut resting on two opposing leaves, unsigned possibly German, Black Forest. The top of the nut hinges back to reveal a clear pressed glass well with cylindrical opening with a receding 16 lobe skirt.
A sterling silver rocker blotter, 5 ¾” x 3”, probably made in India, c. Turn of the 19th Century. Ther sterling silver top plate is chased with a design consisting of a side view of two elephants facing in opposite directions, on either side of the sterling silver knob, surrounded by an all-over design of arabesque foliage enclosed within a beaded edge. The knop is engraved “SER.SUP” within a concentric gadrooned border.
A large art deco double inkstand made of cast brass attributed to Bradley & Hubbard Co., unsigned.
An ornate double inkstand, signed Bradley & Hubbard Co.. The inkstand is made of gilt brass and is ornately cast with a reticulated upright back and raised off the ground by four ornamental feet. There are two integrated side handles for easy lifting and two attached front arms positioned to form a pen rest.
