A hand thrown tin-glazed earthenware CREAM JUG, 2 ¾” tall x 3 ¾” wide, with fine parallel vertical sgraffito lines around the shoulder and across the belly, DAVID LEACH (1911-2005), SIGNED with impressed LD seal and thumbprint base, possibly made at Lowerdown Pottery with much attention to detail.

The white translucent porcelain body (mold #576) stands on ten slightly flared triangular feet, has a shaped handle, irregular shaped lip and a decorative pierced support just below the spout.
