Summary: A fine period Newlyn Arts & Crafts copper rose bowl decorated with a foliate band of flowing repoussé poppies on hammered ground, complete with removable frog cover and raised on a tall pedestal foot with angular ankle, made circa 1905.

Markings: Impressed “NEWLYN” on base.
Condition: An antique, it is offered in excellent original condition, complete all parts present. The bowl may have been lightly polished in the past but only lightly and retains its original appeal. There is a slight bend in the lid where a previous owner removed it from the base, this is being left as found and does not detract. The lid holds in place and removes perfectly. The interior has some expected corrosion from usage over time, it is being left as found to preserve its current state for generations to come. Any polishing will be left to the buyers personal preferences.
