Beautiful impressionist landscape painting in oil, 16” h. X 20” w., (22 5/8” high x 26 5/8” wide Framed) of Snow in Devon, Brixham. Smoke rises from the chimney of snow covered cottages in the rolling Devon valleys, executed by listed British artist Ernest Knight (British, 1915-1995), appropriately signed lower left and further titled and signed on the reverse.
It is in Excellent Vintage Condition; this painting is a fine example of Knight’s impressionist work.
