4 3/8” high, 2 ¼” fitter
Condition: Antique, one is Excellent the other Good, Both Ready for Use
For Accuracy: One has two tight opposing cracks running from the rim approx. 1 ½” diagonally down into the shade. These are nearly imperceptible when not lit and camouflage as veins when lit, thus largely unnoticeable. The other is undamaged. Both are matching and display well.
Catalogue Notes: The quality of glass and design of the forms are in the manner of the Bournique Glass Co of Kokomo, Indiana (1907-1926), and were likely made at this establishment. Established by Adolphe Bournique, gaffer at Meriden Flint Glass and son of Joseph Bournique (renowned gaffer, Baccarat, Johnson Av. New York.), they were known specifically for their opalescent slag glass which they boasted to have been early suppliers of to both La Farge & Tiffany.
