Description: Antique kerosene lamp made by the Boston Sandwich & Glass Co., Boston, MA, c. 1860-1880. The pear shape glass font is a rich cobalt blue cased over white cut to clear with a top row of arabesque windows around the circumference over a lower row of ovals. The font rests on a white slightly opalescent pressed fluted columnar standard and stepped base. The taper shade with a crimped pie crust top is frosted around the body and etched with stylized flowers around the circumference.

Dimensions (burner): 8 ¼” high; 4 ¼” diameter
Markings: unmarked; the burner is embossed, “SCOVILL MFG CO / MADE IN / U.S.A”
Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition – no damage, no repair.
The burner may be a replacement, it may not, it fits perfectly and matches the surrounding brass. This lamp is fit with a period Queen Anne burner by the Scovill Manufacturing Co. It is in excellent condition.
