An antique Mardi Gras party favour in the form of a hand mirror from the 1899 New Orleans Carnival, as it was then called. Made of ornately embossed brass with a crest shaped mirror it measures 6.5” tall x 3.5” wide. In banners on the front it reads “CARNIVAL REX 1899 NEW ORLEANS” on the back is embossed the Rex coat-of-arms.
