Member of the Group of Seven, Canadian Group of Artists, and The Arts and Letters Club of Toronto, ounding member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour, National Academy of Design. Worked at Sampson Matthews Ltd and Ontario College of Art. Casson is one of Canada’s most celebrated artists.

Prints, SOLDSOLD Large original silkscreen of Lake Superior, Ontario, 30" x 40", designed by Alfred Joseph Casson, of Group of Seven fame, for use by the Canadian Pacific Railway. Stemming from the success of the Wartime Prints the Canadian Pacific Railway commissioned a series of Canadian School serigraphs for display in there depots. These images were designed to showcase the emerging Canadian National aesthetic and promote the opportunities for tourism and travel within the Country. -
