PaintingNotes: Historic painting by Edgar Cudworth of Clayton West, Barnsley, South Yorkshire and Internationally known for his portrayals of West Yorkshire and surrounding areas. The watercolour shows the 13th Century Baraugh Mill on the River Dearne. A water mill that traditionally milled corn, it remained intact until 1968 when the building was demolished and the mill wheel removed to a museum in York.
