Kosta Glass (Est. 1742) Founded by Anders Koskull and Bogislaus Stael Von Holstein it managed to stay within the Wickenberg family from 1746 to 1893. The 20th Century has brought with it many changes – in 1971 it merged with Afors and Boda, which was bought by Upsala-Ekeby in 1975, and officially took on the Kosta Boda name sake in 1976 then Orrefors Kosta Boda in 1990. It is now part of the Royal Scandinavian Group. Kosta has always employed the top Scandinavian designers and strove for quality and innovation.
