ARTIST BIOGRAPHY: Mary Pavey (Sweden/Canada, b.1938) RCA, OSA. Pavey moved to Toronto in 1953 where she worked in the advertising industry. In 1976, at the age of 38, she decided to take a career move and pursue her love of painting at OCAD. After graduation she has spent much time studying painting in France, Europe and Scandinavia. Subjects include complex explorations of decorative & antique objects within interior spaces, some portraiture, and the natural outdoor world. STUDIED: Ontario College of Art (1980, H.FA.); Academie de la Grande Chaumiere (Paris).
