Roseville – Vase – Cosmos, Trophy, 4 1/8″
PotteryNotes: American art pottery ‘Cosmos’ pattern trophy vase, form number 134-4”, made by Roseville Pottery, Zanesville, Ohio, circa 1940's. The deliberately modelled form is reminiscent of a standard trophy cup: a two-handled camapagna urn form vessel with a large belly buttressed to an extended neck by two flanking handles and all raised on a pedestal foot. Roseville further stylized the form to a modern taste by flatting the belly into a disk, turning the rim into an octagon, and rounding the handles. A band of cosmos flowers, with their intricate web of delicate branches, circle the body. Scroll Down for further details$125.00 $125.00$125.00 $125.00 -
