Prints, SOLDSOLD Large original silkscreen of Lake Superior, Ontario, 30" x 40", designed by Alfred Joseph Casson, of Group of Seven fame, for use by the Canadian Pacific Railway. Stemming from the success of the Wartime Prints the Canadian Pacific Railway commissioned a series of Canadian School serigraphs for display in there depots. These images were designed to showcase the emerging Canadian National aesthetic and promote the opportunities for tourism and travel within the Country. -
