Artist Biography: Victor ‘Vicke’ Emanuel Lindstrand (Sweden, 1904-1983). Born in Gothenburg he professionally studied drawing, commercial art and illustration. In 1928 Lindstrand embarked on a career in glass and is considered a pioneer of Swedish glass art. Working for Orrefors (1928-1943), Uppsala Ekeby (1943-1950) and Kosta (1950-1972).
