BLEYER, Archie: An American song arranger, bandleader and record company executive who founded Cadence Records Inc. in 1952, after releasing a number of recorded songs. He also lead his own band with Johnny Mercer, founder of Capital Records during this era. He married Janet Ertel of The Chordettes in 1954. He worked with many of the greats releasing for Andy Williams, The Everly Brothers, Chet Atkins, and Don Shirley. He would also release Link Wray’s ‘Rumble’ on Cadence, on advice of his daughter. The song remains the only instrumental song to be banned from the radio – for being too Lewd! – it would heavily influence artists such as Page, Townsend, Clapton and Beck to blend power chords, amps and blues. Shortly after Bleyer denounced Rock music. (Via Wikipedia)

de la VIEZ, Hirsh: Owner of the Hirsh Coin Machine Co. (Oriole Coin Machine Co.), and Show Business Productions, theatrical booking agency, Hit Parade Inc, a radio and television production company in New York. A Past President of the Washington Music Guild, a Vice President of Music Operators of America, a trade organization, and a Chief Barker of the Variety Club of Washington. In 1961, he received the Anshay Shem award from the Tifereth Israel Congregation for his service to the Jewish community. (Via Washington Post)
