Description: An early American coloured lithograph by George Catlin (American, 1796-1872) titled, ‘No. 22 Ball-Play Dance’ printed by Day & Haghe, London, 1844.

Markings: lower left margin, “Catlin del McGahey lith.”; lower center margin, “No 22.” / “BALL-PLAY DANCE.”; lower right margin, “Day & Haghe Lithr. to the Queen”

Condition: Very Good Condition
For Accuracy Only: there are some scattered areas of foxing along the top edge, bottom right corner, left edge and four areas in the center. The narrow fumed oak Arts & Crafts frame is in very good condition with only a minimal amount of light surface wear at the extremities as expected.
