(Plinth): 11 ⅝” square x 1 ¾” high

Description: A monumental soapstone carving by Isa Aupalukta (Inukjuak, b.1942), entitled ‘Hunter with Catch,’ executed in Isa’s signature style.

Markings: incised on base with disc number “E9 1345”

(Sculpture): 23 ⅝” high x 8” wide x 2 ½” deep
(Plinth): 11 ⅝” square x 1 ¾” high

Condition: Excellent – Ready for Display.
Shipping Note: This sculpture is an extremely large solid piece of stone and will take specialty shipping. Rest assured all care is taken in the handling and packing of the artwork for post.

Artist Biography: Aupalukta hunts, carves and resides in Inukjuak along with carver and wife Martha Aupalukta, they have two children; in 1984, Isa represented Canada at the FCNQ Canadian Trade Centre Exhibition in Japan.
