Notes: Vintage circa 1940s frame with carved wood moulding covered in plaster then painted in gold over a mottled red & white underlayer.
This style frame is popular and highly adaptable to a variety of styles. It is notably found with Impressionist, Historic, American and Canadian School estate and investor level paintings .
