Description: Vintage Italian Mid-Century Modern “Pedestal” or “Bird Bath” ashtray, made on the Island of Murano, possibly by Seguso Vetri d’Arte, circa 1950-1970’s. Almost post-modern in its curving yet functionally delineated geometry, askew placement of the applied cigarette wells, vibrant colour scheme, and humorous undertones.
