SUMMARY: Scandinavian sculptural paperweight made by Mats Jonasson in crystal featuring a breathtaking red orchid. The flower is cut and delicately painted into the backside of the triangular rune stone form obelisk; the sides are highly smoothed and polished to create a three-dimensional reflection, similar in appearance to a hologram, that changes with the viewer’s angle. Looked at from various positions is can appear to be completely in the round and surrounded by long tall leaves.

MARKINGS: signed on base, “MJ Sweden 3819”
CONDITION: Excellent Condition. For Accuracy Only: there may be light signs of age to the base, else perfect. The colour is bright and the object clean.
