Northwood Glass Co (United States, 1887-1925)
Corn Vase, Lime Green, Plain Base
carnival glass
6 3/8” high x 3 ¼” diameter (at foot)
Condition: Vintage, Very Good
For Accuracy: insignificant wear, as expected on any antique vase. – One has a factory carbon inclusion at the mouth, this is not damage but a result of production.- The colour, opalescence, and iridescence are strong. Signed on base. See photographs.
*I’m not certain which colour this is though I favour the Lime Green as being the closest, see photographs. (We do our best to render the photographs as true as possible.) The green is a strong neon colour, with a frosting at the top which comes across as an opalescence, and then with a good overall iridescent finish.
