Period vintage Georg Jensen sterling silver brooch designed by Ibe Dahlquist, in the Scandinavian Modern style, circa 1965. The organic yet geometric “bi-corn” motif was a thematic form found in a variety of her work from this period which explores the natural within the mathematical. Here it reflects at a central plane forming a vesica piscis shaped internal negative space bringing forth a large expressive impact from a minimal approach.
