Delicate gold hinged belt buckle bracelet, made by Birmingham goldsmiths Stainton Brothers. This hinged bracelet opens in half to facilitate wearing, closes by a slide in spring clasp and has a safety chain connecting both halves. The top of the upper half has applied pieces to simulate a belt which include a clasp, two eyes and a slide; the surface is further decorated with an allover engraved design of stylized flowers and foliage. The underside of the top half and both sides of the bottom half are undecorated.
