‘Ellis Spray’ Knife Set, Boxed, c. 1900-1920

Notes: A full set of six Ellis Spray pattern fruit knives, in original presentation box, made by Royal Crown Derby, circa 1900-1920.   The elegant and sharp stainless steel sabre shaped blades are set into ergonomic bone china pistol grip handles decorated with floral sprays of pansies and roses. All are stored in the original fitted faux shagreen (shark skin) and gilt card box.

Marks & Dating: The knives are marked on far side of the blade, “MADE SPECIFICALLY FOR / ENGLAND / THE ROYAL CROWN DERBY PORCELAIN CO LTD”; The lack of “MADE IN” (England) dates these knives pre-1920.

Condition: Antique, Very Good
For Accuracy: an antique it may show expected light signs of age. The case may show some light bumping to the extremities; ready for use and display.
