Rare and beautiful Hawaiian Ukulele made of flamed koa wood with multi-colour stringing around the soundhole, edges of the body and up the centre of the fretboard. It has a 16 fret neck with friction tuners on the headstock.
Markings: original Art Nouveau decal on top of headboard, “T.B.Co. / Sterling / TRADE MARK”; round stamp interior of backside visible through soundhole, “HAWAIIAN / UKELELE / MADE BY / T. B. Co.”
Dimensions (ukulele): 20 ½” long x 6 ¼” wide x 2 1/16” thick
Case: Original soft canvas over hard-card case.
Condition: As far as I can tell it is in Excellent Vintage Condition – no damage, no repair, complete with the original canvas carrying case. I do not play the ukulele and the uke has not been serviced; a set of generic strings was purchased to test the sound & to the best of my knowledge – it sounds beautiful.
