Canadian School oil on artistboard of lush parkland on a summer’s afternoon signed lower left D. L. Bennett., circa 1910-1930. Depicted is a view of a city and distant harbor from a treed park on higher ground. Along the central horizon are a grouping of buildings, it is possible this painting is either a Toronto or Hamilton scene looking towards the downtown core and harbor from a park on the escarpment.
Markings: signed lower left, “D. L. Bennett.”
Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition – undamaged with no restoration it is clean and presented in a fine carved gilt over red carved frame. Ready for display.
