Description: An original Autumnal landscape painting by Joseph Monk (1908-1990) BSOA. Depicted is a narrow path covered with fallen leaves in warm golden tones along a river in autumn.
Note: Composed with French and orientalist overtones this is a superb example that, once again, showcases the diversity of Monk’s output.
Markings: signed and dated lower left, “Joseph Monk”
Condition: Excellent – Ready for Display.
