Notes: A fine original Susan Andrina Ross (1915-1990) Canadian School oil on canvas painting. This brightly coloured expressionist landscape impresses on the viewer the dynamic elemental nature of the Canadian landscape. Ross takes care to balance the reflections, fiery autumn colours, persistent green conifers, cooling blue waters and stark barren trees & rocks into a harmonious composition.
