Condition: Vintage, Very Good. The pastel is bright with clean and clear definition. The original mat is signed and titled but unfortunately has a water stain along the bottom, this is on the mat only and does not affect the pastel.
Biography: WRIDE, Maise. Active in Calgary, Alberta, Wride is a self-taught painter working in watercolour and pastel. She is known for her lake and mountain landscapes including such notable landmarks as the Valley of the Ten Peaks, Bow Valley, Maligne Lake, The Three Sisters, and Mount Rundle.
