Description & Notes: British vintage art pottery pot/vase by Lily Partington for Royal Doulton, circa 1923-1927. Made of stoneware, the slightly ovoid rounded body has a cinched neck and short flared rim. Five groupings of tube-lined blue flowers with wild green foliage are placed equidistant around the circumference above a small circle; between each is an additional small circle at the shoulder. The body is further glazed with a variegated drip high-gloss blue over yellow ground and the interior with a variegated high gloss amber.

Markings: impressed on base with 1923-1927 Royal Doulton logo; “u”; “8494”; and incised with Lily Partington’s “LP” monogram
Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition
For Accuracy: a vintage vase it may show expected light signs of age and use related wear. The tube-lining is crisp and clean, and the colours strong. Overall it is a refreshing and cheerful spring pot.
