An English pottery miniature tyg, 1 ½ inches high x 1 ½ inches across the handles, made by Doulton & Company Ltd., Lambeth, circa 1891-1956.
Made of plain brown and cream colored stoneware, the miniature 3 handled mug has sprigged decoration in white clay consisting of 3 different outlined applied tavern scenes with an applied running dog below each one. Each scene is applied between two of the handles.
The bottom is impressed:
DOULTON
LAMBETH
ENGLAND
with an inverted “9749” above this and an “O” below it.
CONDITION: Excellent.
