A scarce Paul Neu (1881 – 1940) stein with cobalt Jugenstijl (“youth style”) decor, model 2196, appropriately marked with the Reinhold Merkelbach, Grenzhausen impressed mark, impressed model no. 2196, and impressed N, c. 1916.
Condition: Antique, Very Good
For Accuracy: an antique it may show expected light signs of age such as some oxidization of the metal mounts. The body is Excellent.
