4 ¾” high x 3 ½” diameter

Description: Scarce Royal Lancastrian high fired vase, shape number 2503, decorated in speckled turquoise over plum, impressed marks, c. 1910. A vase with the same glaze was exhibited at the Pilkington’s Lancastrian Society exhibition of 1913 (Cross, pp. 82-86) and this form has been seen with a painted lustre décor by Richard Joyce.

Markings: ‘2503’ / [P&B Mark] / ‘Royal / ‘Lancastrian’ ‘England’

Condition: Antique, Excellent
