Note: Two pairings of allegorical figures are separated either side by a decorative tree; one side shows Euterpe, daughter of Zeus, muse of lyrical song holding a double flute, and the other side Apollo, son of Zeus, associated with music, healing, prophecy, holding lyre and bow.
