Catalogue Notes: The collotype process is notable for the artistic sophistication of its output. Immediately apparent in this image is its rich tonal quality that compensates for and conveys the textural detail. ‘Iberian Flounces’ was originally included in the Royal Academy diploma exhibition of 1962 and is alternatively titled ‘A girl in a striped skirt’.
