Antique Edwardian solid sterling silver muffineer in a George I style panelled octagonal form with waisted baluster, turned finial and raised foot. The lid is sufficiently pierced to allow most granulated sugars and spices; and has been further hand-detailed for effect.
Markings: fully hallmarked on side, “RM/EH” (Martin, Hall & Co); “[anchor]” (Birmingham); “[lion passant]” (sterling); “m” (1911-12); hallmarked on side of inner rim, “lion passant”, “m”; impressed on base, “10234”, “96”
Condition: Antique, Very Good
For Accuracy Only: an antique it may show expected minimal signs of wear / light use commensurate with age. There is light rubbing to the upper section of the makers mark and the mildest of bend to the foot. Else Excellent. The patina is warm and rich. Fine and in usable condition.
