Description & Notes: Vintage weighted sol-de-fleur bud vase made and retailed by Henry Birks & Son, Canada, 20th Century. The heavy clear glass flute form vase, with rounded inward mouth and narrow solid base is inserted into a banded sterling silver neck integral to the sterling silver stepped foot base.
Dimensions: Height: 9 ¾”; Width: 2 7/8”
Markings: impressed around foot, “BIRKS STERLING”; impressed bottom, “55/22”
Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition – no damage, no repair with very little age and use wear, only what is expected on such an item. There are no chips, hairlines, dents or pings. It has not been cleaned and is offered as found to preserve the patina for future generations and the buyer’s personal preferences.
