PorcelainNotes: Rare Irish Belleek 1st black mark cup & saucer with ring handle hand-enameled in the ‘Limoges’ type with a Stork amongst reeds and flowers with a lake and mountains in the distance. This pattern is said to be introduced under Robert Williams Armstrong; the ‘Limoges Enamel’ style executed by Thomas Bott was highlighted at the Paris Exhibition of 1855.
