Catalogue Notes: A Norris #A5 coffin form dovetailed smoothing plane with ebonized beech infills, the adjustable plane is considered the ‘Rolls Royce’ of planes. There is a screw in through the front bun indicating it is a Post-WWII model, and while of later production it is still of fine quality.
Markings: stamped on the iron, lever cap, brace adjust knob, ‘NORRIS’ / ‘LONDON’
Condition: Vintage, Very Nice
For Accuracy: a vintage plane it may show expected light signs of age, please view the photographs carefully. By all accounts, a nice Norris infill plane. It has been left as-found for the buyers conservation preferences.
