Notes: A Liberty & Co side dish of circular form decorated with a symmetrical honesty pod (lunaria annua) decoration, designed by Archibald Knox. This a complimentary piece to the 0231 honesty pod knot coffee/tea service and is executed in the now iconic ‘Liberty Style’ incorporating Celtic ornament and interlace with a proto-modern sensibility.
Markings: impressed to base, “H” / “TUDRIC” / “ENGLISH PEWTER” / “LIBERTY & CO” / “0231”
Condition: A period piece, it is offered in very good original condition. It is a fine Knox form and left in its original as found patina, if you prefer polishing to your Liberty pewter it will polish up brilliantly.
