Summary: Iconic Danish Modern gulvvase in oxblood red cased white glass, in the rare large size, designed by Otto Brauer for Holmegaard, circa 1962, after the 1958 Carnaby design by Per Lutken. Brauer’s vases are notable for their size, casing and bright colours.
It is noted in Miller’s that this is the rarest and most desirable form.
Markings: unsigned, well-documented form
Condition: Vintage, Very Good Condition.
For Accuracy Only: there are a few light scuffs to the exterior and a light bruised area at the foot, these only show under close scrutiny; else excellent.
