Delicate gold hinged belt buckle bracelet, made by Birmingham goldsmiths Stainton Brothers. This hinged bracelet opens in half to facilitate wearing, closes by a slide in spring clasp and has a safety chain connecting both halves. The top of the upper half has applied pieces to simulate a belt which include a clasp, two eyes and a slide; the surface is further decorated with an allover engraved design of stylized flowers and foliage. The underside of the top half and both sides of the bottom half are undecorated.
Condition: Antique, Very Good
*For Accuracy: the hallmarks are worn therefore it has been tested manually and reads about 14k. There is some wear to the underside of the clasp opening however it remains a tight closure with a strong hinge.
