A pair of 14K yellow bloomed gold cufflinks, each is prong set with an old mine cut diamond mounted in an etched 8 pointed star. They are oval in shape, ½ inches high x 11/16 inches wide, unadorned except for the diamond and were made circa 1900.
The fronts are connected to the bean backs with sturdy split bridges.
One side of each bridge is impressed “14K” and an unknown maker’s mark, a stylized key or figure. They are complete with their original purple velvet fitted retailers case that is embossed on the cream colored satin lining in the lid with a shield shaped crest enclosing the letter “G” flanked by a stag and a unicorn above a banner enclosing the word “DIAMONDS”. Below this is:
