Description: A fine Edwardian 9 carat yellow gold lavaliere with a central round cut amethyst dangling from a pearl set at the apex of a double square, this is lowered from a second round cut amethyst attached either side to a delicate gold chain. Also referred to as a negligee necklace, it originates from England, c. 1900-1910.
