Description: A fine Canadian School Beatrice Hagarty Robertson (Canadian, 1879-1962) OSA, oil on board still life painting depicting a handsome arrangement of pink and yellow roses in a hammered copper planter.
Note: The frame is hand-carved and may be by Stuart Williams who is related to and carved frames for Homer Watson and other leading Canadian artists in the Ontario area.
Markings: signed lower right, “Beatrice Robertson”; verso upper center, original brown paper gallery/exhibition/inventory label, “17”
