Note: A fine Edwardian gilt and jeweled cobalt octagonal demitasse made by Coalport, circa 1891-1920. Showcased is a repeating pattern of rococo type scrolls enclosed within pedals surrounded by a gilt field of graduated turquoise jewels on a ground of cobalt contained with a heavily gilt scrolling border; the cup with fully gilt handle.

Dimensions (saucer): 3 9/16” diameter x 9/16” high
Markings: Both are marked with the green, “ENGLAND / [CROWN] / COALPORT / A. D. 1750” backstamp; the cup further marked with hand-applied “T6531” and the saucer with an impressed “15E5”
Condition: An Antique, it is offered in mint original condition with no damage or repair of any kind. No chips, scratches, enamel or gilt loss – they display finely.
