Notes: A large luminescent Coralene vase featuring purple and pink iris on a soft rainbow gradient of green, yellow, pink, and blue. The cylindrical form echo’s the vertical extension of the iris decor.
Markings: red mark JVP 245, ‘PATENT APPLIED FOR’ / ‘NO’ / ‘38257’ / ‘Japanese Marks’ / ‘Japanese Marks’ / ‘Japanese Marks’
Condition: Antique, Very Good
For Accuracy: an Antique it may show expected light signs of age. The gilt shows minimal rubbing, the ground shows a few scuffs, and there is one area of bead loss near the foot on the back side, reflected in price.* This is fairly common to Coralene vases and overall this vase is very good with significant retention of the original glass beads on the large floral display around the body.
