Description: A 95/5 blue glazed textured compote formed of a shallow bowl sitting raised on a conical foot and decorated around the interior and foot with concentric circles with green and blue centres, by Aldo Londi, for Bitossi and imported by Rosenthal-Netter Inc. for amram’s in Toronto, Canada.
Markings: original Rosenthal-Netter Inc., amram’s label on base
Condition: Vintage, Very Good
For Accuracy: a vintage compote is may show expected light signs of wear. There is a miniscule glaze flake at the foot and at a minuscule scratch on the rim. These are only noticeably under extremely close scrutiny. The glaze, form, and design are fine.
