Summary: An early Longwy plumier (pen tray) of elongated oval form with everted lip, France, circa 1865-1889. White, blue, and red flowers with green leaves quilt the turquoise ‘Bleu de Longwy’ ground, this distinctive incised decoration is carefully executed to recall cloisonné enamel.
